How To Resolve Purple Light Issue Of Velop Router On Android Device?
Before troubleshooting the
purple light issue, the following requirements must be satisfied.

Linksys app should be
installed on the Android device.
·
Android OS version should be higher
than 4.1.
·
Proper internet connection.
Steps for fixing the purple
light issue are:
1.
Open the app from the
Smartphone and click on the ‘Setup’ link.
2.
Turn on the Bluetooth of your
smartphone.
3.
Go through the ‘Terms and
conditions’.
4.
The setup will now search for
available ‘Nodes’.
5.
Tap ‘Next’.
6.
The available connection will
be scanned by the Velop router.
7.
If the network doesn’t get
detected, then check the wires if properly connected to the modem or not.
8.
Restart the modem and let the
lights on it get stable.
9.
Once the lights turn on,
click to create a Linksys cloud account. If you are already having the account,
then enter the email address and password to sign-in.
10.
The account will
automatically link to the router.
11.
Create SSID and password for
the Velop router. This name is used to connect the wireless devices to the
network.
12.
Start connecting the devices
to the Velop router and check if you get a ‘Successfully configured’ message on
screen or not.
13.
Tap ‘Next’ from the bottom of
the screen.
