 Instructions

1.      Turn off the modem's power supply. Locate the cable that connects the computer and modem. Disconnect the cable from the modem and plug it into the grey port on the Belkin router. If you are replacing an existing modem, disconnect the cable from the old modem and plug it into the grey port on the new router.

2.      Connect the new cable inside F5D7234 -4 Belkin box to the yellow port router. Connect the other end of the cable to the modem.

3.      Connect the modem's power supply. Wait 60 seconds for the modem to start up. Plug the modem's power supply into an available wall outlet. Plug the other end of the power supply into the black port on the Belkin router. Check the connections again after the router is restarted. The "wire" and the "power" lights should light up green after 20 seconds.

4.      Insert the F5D7234 -4 Belkin software disc into the computer's CD-ROM drive.

Follow the instructions on the screen once the setup wizard appears on the computer screen. The wizard set-up will automatically appear when you insert the software disc into the CD-ROM drive.
